Our WLD Ambassadors team is rapidly growing and we envisage reaching critical mass by 2012, i.e. having a strong presence in 50 countries. World Leadership Day itself is progressively expanding beyond our yearly celebration as we as WLD Ambassador are working across borders with an enormous capacity for bringing about change and transformation.
Within three years World Leadership Day, celebrated on or around 20th March each year, has developed the reputation “as being by far the most professional and global leadership event” and is being recognized as the platform that lights up the inner leader in people across the world.

Wellington, the hub of WLD, proudly invites people from all walks of life, cultures and ages from 16 years to no upper limit – in its local community. Across the region, state, and interstate – to join our vibrant 2010 WLD celebration. It is the engaging and diverse leadership dialogue across ages, gender and cultures that makes our WLD celebration unique, and inspires us to express our personal leadership in more intentional ways in the world.
Leadership determines everything in life! WLD’s vision is a world that recognizes, engages and cultivated the innate leader in every person.
The 2010 World Leadership Day is about shining the flood-lights on individual leadership. It’s about celebrating grass-root leadership – our innate personal leadership in everyday life. It’s about inspiring and being inspired by each other and engaging in light-hearted conversations about ‘New Horizons of Leadership.” It’s about exploring how we want to lead and live our lives in a rapidly changing world.
The event is actively supported by Wellington Council, Wellington Development Inc, the Committee of Binjang Community Radio and the Wellington Times
