Doreen Christie

Doreen Christie is an indigenous New Zealander, a descendent of the esteemed indigenous Maori tribes of Ngati Kahungunu and Ngai Tuhoe, and also proudly acknowledges her pioneering English heritage and Irish ancestry as a descendent of the mighty Brien Boru.

Doreen’s friendly, confident and determined nature has supported her well during her successful career in business management, information technology, performance and leadership coaching, and professional speaking over more than two decades. She has always been attracted to opportunities which enable her to support others’ success, underpinned by a strong conviction that we can all create the amazing results we truly desire. Doreen’s passion to help others succeed on their own terms through personal leadership is fully aligned to the goals of World Leadership Day, making it a very easy and exciting decision to become an ambassador.

Doreen's Qualifications include Master NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Certification, Master Hypnosis Certification, Advanced Neurological Repatterning, Master Results Coach, PRINCE2 Project Management, KT Project Management.

She is the co-founder and director of Results Now! Associates, a business she has developed with her sister (and WLD co-ambassador) Benita Tahuri. Results Now! works with highly-motivated women to create rapid and long-lasting real-world results in their personal and professional lives. Doreen utilises an array of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), neurological repatterning, hypnosis, and coaching skills to help her clients achieve clarity and harmony, break through limitations, and chart a course to success.

Benita Tahuri

Benita Tahuri is an indigenous New Zealander, mother of five and a descendant of the esteemed Maori tribes of Ngati Kahungunu and Ngai Tuhoe. She also proudly acknowledges her pioneering English heritage and her Irish ancestry as a descendant of the mighty Brien Boru. These are all represented along with other stories and history in the unique markings as seen on her moko kauae (traditional chin tattoo).
Benita's passion for getting outstanding results and helping others uncover and realise their own strengths and potential is inspired by her own personal and professional journey in life. As tangata whenua (indigenous person) of New Zealand/Aotearoa she is a passionate advocate of tino rangatiratanga (self determination) i.e. self leadership for each and every individual equally of all nations, races, and cultures. Benita has a unique and natural ability to quickly connect with people from a variety of diverse communities and backgrounds.

With a deep understanding of the importance to connect with people where they are, a humble yet strong presence of nature, and her own belief that everyone has everything they need right now to do and create anything they desire, she sees and understands personally how even the most diverse and challenging situations are indeed positive learning opportunities to help achieve ones’ most desired results in life, health, wealth, business/career and relationships.
